My friend and I are moving there from Ireland this summer, from June to September. We will be staying in Sandwich, and working in Chatham...what fun things are there to do there? What are the best beaches, shops, places to go out at night- are there many night clubs there? Are there many young people there in general?

1. Cape Cod is filled with young people in the summer.
2. Truro, Wellfleet and Provincetown have my favorite beaches, although Sandy Neck in Sandwich is wonderful as well. The beaches on Nantucket Sound have the warmest water.
3. Shopping is great in Chatham where you will be working.
4. One day take a ride down the old Cape road, Route 6A, from Sandwich to Provincetown. Plan a whole day to do this. You will see all the small towns along the west side.
On another day you can drive down the Bourne side to Chatham.
5. I'm afraid I can't help you with the current hot spots, although I do know that Chatham and Chatham Bars Inn along with a lot of places in Falmouth seem to attract more young people than other places.
6. There is also a great shopping plaza in Mashpee with several nice bars and restaurants.
