Q&A: What campground is better in DE, Cape Henlopen or DE Seashore?

Going in July, with 2 families with children 6 and younger. Interested in knowing cleanliness of facilities, types of people (rowdy or otherwise), distance to beach, price and any other considerations that would help us make a decision. Our take so far is that DE Seashore is more for RVers and is exposed more to the elements and less private.

Normally, Delaware Seashore is the way to go. There is usually a good mix of tents and RVs. The campground is much closer to the beach. It is also not shaded like Cape Henlopen, so you can still get a tan while at your campsite.

However, they've been building a new bridge over the Indian River Inlet for the last few years. The bridge is at the western edge of the campground. So you wake up to the noise of construction first thing in the morning. Also the traffic pattern is screwed up a little, so it makes it more difficult to get into and out of the campground area. So for the time being, I'd head to Cape Henlopen.
