i know i have already done a worst singers list, and many of them will be repeated on my list for this question but...what singers are the biggest wailers in music; that is to say, name some singers that have no range but higher notes?
my list:
akon...i know we're in rock/pop and he's a rapper, but unfortunately he's too popular to avoid so we have to listen to him when you can't pick the music...this guy really inspired this question, every time he tries to sing it's just awful, even when he's rapping and not really singing it makes me want to die
robert plant...blasphemy i know, but i just think that he doesn't really display very much vocal talent at all, except in hitting high notes
bono...just listen to sunday bloody sunday, your ears will bleed, that i promise you
axl rose...his voice could crack windows miles away, and his rambunctious and senseless screaming in welcome to the jungle bugs the life out of me
and one more that i forgot:
billy corgan...his voice isn't as bad as some of the others on this list in terms of wailing, but i wanted to enter him onto the list because he will wail in some songs and then try to take on this death metal kind of voice in others which annoys me to death
i think vedder's voice is awful, but i do think he's a pretty good songwriter which makes his songs listenable...he doesn't qualify really as a wailer for me though because he seems to be able to go in all different directions with his voice, if only he could actually sing and not sound like he's shouting into a cave

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam is a wailer, too.
Even though all the people you mentioned do wail, I LOVE IT! I especially like to hear Vedder sing "Jeremy".
What do you think? Answer below!
