South African designed and manufactured G6 can shoot its standard projectile to a range of 30km, base-bleed projectiles to a range of 39km, or V-Lap projectiles to 50km!! Steam Train Ride, Epping Station, Cape Town

The train (used to?) move between Epping Station and Old Mutual Station for a month on a Sunday. It is an unenspiring short straight ride but this was apparently due to the xhorbitant costs charged by the national rail operator to make use of the commercial rail routes. It at least gave the chance for youngsters to see, smell and experience a steam train ride.
