My daughter keeps choosing non-fiction books about dinosaurs or the 'real life bugs and insect ' magazines we collect as bed-time stories.
The only trouble with this, is there's words I've never seen or heard before. So I muddle my way through using what I know too try and sound the word out.
But I was wondering, if anywhere on the internet or maybe a computer program has been designed where we can type these words and have them said back to us; giving us a better idea of how the word may actually sound or as close to possible the way it should be said.

Try www.dictionary.com -- it has a pronunciation option. In American, alas.
