there were some trails out on the tip near provincetown heading towards race point beach where i've seen horses heading towards the ocean--but necer actually on the ocean...you can however get an off-road vehicle permit and go off-roading on the beach if you have a 4X4..thats very romantic--you drive until you find your own stretch of beach, you can also get a fire permit and have a beachfire at night..i do it every year with my girlfriend
