Looking for a location that is lively and family friendly? Not sure what part of the cape to stay at? And, can suggest somewhere nice to stay thats also family friendly?

Stayed at a couple of different places in Hyannis when kids were young.
One had an indoor pool which saved us because of rotten weather.
There was a seedy zoo nearby w/ a dolphin show & a dancing chicken.
There's whale watching out of Provincetown...might want to cover the kids eyes if openly "alternative " lifestyles bother you.
Nothing very lively to be found on the cape.
