He mentions how beautiful Cape-Town was and says that he visited 'Snowball Joe's' for dinner on the 28th October 1940 and got Stewed steak, giblets, rice, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, lettuce and cheese all on one plate, which surprised him!!!
Does anyone know anything about Snowball Joes?, its history, location etc
