I am junior currently in three AP classes. AP Calculus AB: I have a B, AP Us History: I have an A, and AP English Lang: I have an A, each are these grades are by the semester. I believe I can get a 4 or 5 on Ap Us History and Ap Calculus, and possibly a 3 or 4 on AP Language. I plan to take three subject tests: Math 2 C, US history, and possibly Spanish. I have done 50 hours of community service. I am an CSF, volunteered on a political campaign for the city council, and tutored local kids in an elementary school. I also am a varsity letterman for football and track and field. The problem that I have is that my ACT is TOO LOW. I received a dismal 23, and am seeking to get a 28-30. I got a 25 in math, 24 in English, 21 in Reading and Science. I am good at math but the test I took this month seems hard. My friends said the same thing about this particular test. On practice tests I usually get 27-30 for math and 28-30 in English, 26 reading , and 24 in Science. I seek to get a 31 on the Math and English the second time around, a 26-30 on reading. I just figured that I read three passages fully and get all the questions right, and just guess on the fourth passage, I can get a 30, but I'm aiming for a 27 or higher, and on the science I seek to get a 23-25. I'm not good at science, but hopefully I can imporve by 4 points. I am afraid that becuase of my low scores I won't be able to get in UC Berkely, UCLA, Stanford, USC, Duke, Goergetown, NYU, Chapman, Boston College, and other colleges I seek to go to. My weighted GPA is about a 3.9-4.0. What are my chances of getting a 28-30 on ACT in june, and my target goals already listed??

get some review notes from students writing science course exams(biology, chemistry, physics) and study these.if you grasp the knowledge well and if these exam notes are well written by your peer you will improve your knowledge greatly...plus practise your reading technique(read faster, comprehend better) being able to read faster makes you that much better test taker OVERALL and plus its on of your weak points....good luck
